Kathmandu, 1 July 2026: Inclusive Education Nepal (IEN) has signed a one-year technical partnership agreement with Orchid Pediatric Center, a Kathmandu-based center providing therapeutic and developmental support to children. The agreement runs from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027 and establishes IEN as Orchid’s technical partner, supporting the center’s assessment systems, curriculum, and staff development.
Under the agreement, IEN will work with Orchid’s team to develop and review curriculum and assessment frameworks, and to design an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) framework along with the staff training needed to put it into practice. IEN will also deliver at least eight professional development workshops and coaching sessions over the course of the year, and will provide ongoing advisory support to Orchid’s leadership on issues affecting the children the center serves.
A specialist from IEN, with expertise in autism education, will lead the partnership and work directly with a coordinator designated by Orchid and provide technical advisory and support to Orchid on a regular basis.
The agreement was signed by Laxmi Luitel, Manager of Inclusive Education Nepal, and Asmika Sharma, Director of Orchid Pediatric Center.
