Inclusive Education Nepal (IEN) is proud to announce Nepal’s first-ever National Dialogue on Inclusive Education and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), a groundbreaking gathering of educators, policymakers, school leaders, disability rights advocates, researchers, and changemakers.
IEN is pleased to invite you to join the National Dialogue on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Inclusive Education in Nepal, to be held on 17 September 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Kathmandu.
As you all might know, Universal Design for Learning is a globally recognized framework that ensures teaching and learning are accessible, flexible, and meaningful for all learners, regardless of their abilities, backgrounds, or learning styles. In Nepal, where classrooms are diverse and resources are often limited, UDL offers a practical pathway to creating inclusive, equitable, and quality education for every child.
This dialogue will bring together leaders, educators, policymakers, and civil society actors to:
- Explore the relevance of UDL in transforming Nepal’s classrooms.
- Share practical experiences and innovations on inclusive pedagogy.
- Discuss pathways for collaboration to strengthen inclusive and equitable education systems.
We believe your experience and leadership will make an important contribution to this national conversation.
