Program Details
Our flagship initiative, Inclusive Schools Transformation, helps schools move from traditional to transformative learning environments where every child belongs. This initiative reimagines education from the ground up, not as a system that merely accommodates difference, but one that celebrates diversity as its foundation.
What We Do
Inclusive School Audits:
We begin with a holistic assessment of each school’s physical environment, classroom practices, and culture. This helps identify barriers and opportunities for inclusion.
School Improvement Planning
Together with teachers and school leaders, we co-develop a custom Inclusive School Improvement Plan (ISIP)that guides the transformation journey step by step.
Teacher Capacity Building
We train teachers in:
- Inclusive Pedagogy — making every learner feel seen and valued
- Universal Design for Learning (UDL) — designing lessons that give all students equal opportunities to learn
- Differentiated Instruction — adapting teaching methods to varied needs, abilities, and interests
Accessible Infrastructure
- We support schools to create barrier-free, welcoming spaces through ramps, tactile pathways, accessible signage, gender-neutral washrooms, and inclusive classroom layouts.
Resource Rooms & Learning Tools
- We help establish resource rooms with assistive devices, adaptive materials, and learning aids for children with disabilities and learning differences.
Our Transformative Approach
At the heart of this work lies Transformative Inclusive Education (TIE) — an approach that moves:

TIE invites schools to reimagine education systems, relationships, and teaching so that difference becomes a source of strength and innovation.
Our Vision
Through Inclusive Schools Transformation, we aim to build model inclusive schools across Nepal schools that embody justice, empathy, and creativity. These schools become living examples of what it means to teach not to the average, but to the humanity in every child.
